Collie Association Open Show (Show 2) 10 July 22 My thanks to the Collie Association for the invitation to take over this judging appointment at very short notice from Mrs D Rowan – I do hope that all is well with her. It was a very hot day but the show was exceptionally well run and the hospitality was fantastic. The rings were of a good size to ensure the dogs could be moved As I stated when I judged previously there is a tendency for tails to be too short – they should at least reach the hock as a minimum - some struggled to do this – the effect is that it detracts from the elegance and overall shape of our lovely breed – with some tails being carried almost over the back Vetran Dog (1.1) Puppy dog (2.1) Constella Hazy Cosmic Jive 10mth old Tri dog who was enjoying his day out. His head handles ok, he has the correct shape dark eyes with well placed ears, good reach of neck – correct length to height ratio.
