Best In Show

My thanks to the committee of the Collie Association for inviting me to judge BIS at this well run and popular show. The quality of the exhibits sent forward to me was extremely high.
Best in Show went to the blue merle Smooth Collie – Sweeney’s Plaisance Blue Belle.

Not an instant eyecatcher but once you get your hands on this girl she is so very pleasing.  Very well constructed with correct angulations, super neck and length of back.  At the end of a very warm day, her movement was still so effortless and this is what clinched it for her. Well done.

Reserve BIS and BVIS went to the veteran Rough Collie – Humphrey’s Brilyn Kiss at Midnight to Jamesfair. Very typical, feminine girl who was very pleasing.  Lovely expression.  Moved out well and I’m sure she can still show the youngsters how it’s done.

BOS went to Wray’s Takhisis Trick or Treat.  Very appealing tri dog with lovely outline.  Super expression, well-constructed and moved out really well.

BPIS went to Russell’s Smooth Collie Koczkodan Serenity.  Very promising feminine bitch.  So well constructed and this showed in the effortless way she moved round the ring.  Should have a bright future.
