To the committee of the CA thank you for asking me to officiate at your show as it is an honour to be asked by a breed club to judge your breed. To the back room ladies who did the refreshments, they were excellent, to the two judges thank you for sending forward excellent representatives of your breed. BIS I awarded to the Rough, Delmelewis Double Two. Tri bitch on standing was the complete picture, on the move she glided round the ring with drive from the rear, never took her eyes off her handler showing reach of neck, good shoulder placement, good rear quarters. Best puppy the Smooth, Wynele Strike it Rich to Lewarne. Up against a really good Rough, both had the outline but I preferred the expression on the Smooth, both were tris but the Smooth was jet black as you can tell it was nit picking. Best veteran the Rough, Ch. Mejola Fate and Fortune. As I know, to keep veterans from 7 onwards in peak condition takes more effort as we tend not to show them all the time so to have two veterans in peak condition with excellent movement it was a joy to judge them. My final decision was the Rough, I preferred the light easy movement of the Rough who covered the ground with ease and shown in the peak of condition, on another day it could have so easily been the other way round.
